Lead Enterprise Software Engineer

  • Develop cloud native, micro-services architecture-based enterprise applications
  • Automate activities and bring efficiencies to existing processes
  • Develop reusable solutions and templates for cloud capabilities

Requirements:

  • Strong programming background with 5+ years in a developer role
  • Experience in software engineering and/or production support
  • Programming experience with cloud SDKs/APIs or deployment tools
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines for applications
  • Experience leading software development teams
  • Knowledge of DBMS, Distributed Messaging, and other technical domains
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms
  • Expert level skills with Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Search
  • Proficient with AppDynamics, DataDog, or New Relic
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in strategic planning for the engineering organization
  • Define, design, and deliver new software and features
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance
  • Research, propose, and implement new technologies, processes, and paradigms
  • Attend team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions
  • Improve operations by identifying areas for automation
  • Review cloud provider recommended solutions and propose solutions for the platform
  • Produce Engineering Design Artifacts, functional and design specifications
